Frequently Asked Questions
What is it that you guys do (source)?
WhiteHall Products sources single-use items from domestic and international sources, according to the needs of our customers. Although historically can liners and flexible packaging, our sourcing efforts have grown to include paper, cutlery, molded containers and even the unusual, like go-cart tires.
How do we find product overseas?
WhiteHall features 5 overseas offices, based out of Shenzhen, China, from which all Pacific Rim sourcing is coordinated. Plants are located, inspected and tested for compliance to the needs of our customers. On this side of the globe, our internal operations target and qualify plants in the Western Hemisphere.
What are your minimums?
That depends on your needs. WhiteHall can drop ship containers, truckloads or ship single pallets anywhere in the continental United States, and can offer many of the same needs to our outside the US customers as well. Your Solutions Consultant will be happy to work out your options with you.
Do we have to take containers all at once?
Absolutely not. Containers may be shipped all at once, floor-loaded or on pallets or they can be shipped to our facilities, off-loaded, palletized and shipped to your business. The shipments may be scheduled out over 30 days to fit your needs.
How can we stabilize pricing?
There are many ways this may be achieved, but the first is to work closely with your Solutions Consultant. WhiteHall Products closely monitors the market and will give you advance notice to trends, so you may plan your inventory and purchases. Container purchases are also an effective means to stabilize pricing, as product on the water, not in inventory, would not be subject to increases.
What are the differences in resin?
Overall, there are two major divisions in commercial resin; they are HDPE (high-density polyethylene) and LDPE/LLDPE (Low density polyethylene).
Can you print on can liners?
Of course you can.Can liners may be printed, typically with one color in a random repeat style, meaning that there may be multiple prints per bag, but at least one full print. Registered or fixed printing is also available, but is oftentimes more expensive.
Do you have green products?
In every product category from Post Consumer Waste can liners to chemicals that are safe even if they are consumed, to paper products that are either recycled or up to 75% tree-free virgin product. Just address with us your concerns and we will work together to achieve your green goals with competitive products.
Are there any certifications with these green products?
There is. This will vary between products, from Green Seal to Leeds credits, but certifications are available.
Can you make custom bags/film/paper/chemicals?
Frankly, this is where we shine. So many companies come to your business with a stock list of products and invite you to pick from what they want to sell you. Not at WhiteHall. We will listen to your needs, challenge you for opportunities that you may not have realized, and provide products that put money in your pocket in the form of savings, increased sales or both. Virtually all of our products can be customized, in blends, colors, packs, private labels, and sizes. We put the power of customization in your hands, where it belongs.
What may I have printed on the label?
Whatever you choose. Certain states have requirements, so please check your state’s guidelines as to labeling. Aside from this, you may have a one-color label with your logo, contact information, code number, description and any other information you require. On many of our chemicals, the labeling may be multi-colored, and for as little as 5 cases of product.
How can I make sure I’m making a product to product (apples to apples) price and quality comparison?
We like to call this an apple to opportunity comparisons. The best way to achieve this is to send us your product you have or would like to sell, with as much information as possible and we will not only match the product you have to ensure what you are getting, but offer suggestions to the product with the intent to separate yourself from your competition and secure the business for your company.
How do I place an order?
That’s our favorite question, (and the easiest). Just call 888.925.6788 and speak to Customer Care. If you are a new customer, please ask the receptionist to put you in touch with one of our Solutions Consultants so we may better understand your needs and fulfill your expectations.
