As the global economy grows, thousands of containers enter the United States daily. Containers have proven to be the most cost-effective method for receiving product.
Containers allow customers to consolidate purchasing; afford easy ordering
access; have extremely cost effective pricing and provide up-to-date marketing
conditions and pricing.
Container Sizes:
20 ft. Dry Freight Container - holding capacity of 1,165 cubic feet.
- Minimum weight requirement: 35,000 lbs.
- Maximum weight requirement: 37,000 lbs.
- For Plastic Can Liners Only
40 ft. Dry Freight Container - holding capacity of 2,337 cubic feet
- Minimum weight requirement: 40,000 lbs. (Plastic Only)
- Maximum weight requirement: 43,000 lbs.
- For Plastic and Paper Liners Only Separately
- Paper Items will fill a container faster without needing the weight
requirements
Total Items Purchased:
Paper and Plastic items cannot be mixed in a container. When purchasing a container, a maximum
of 4 items are allowed on each container. For can liners a maximum of 8 items
are allowed on each container.
Ordering Requirements:
- Paper Items have a minimum order requirement of 20 cases of each product.
- Plastic Items have a minimum weight requirement of 2,000 lbs of each
product.

Additional Information:
- It takes an average of 90 days from day of order placement to arrival at Customer Dock
- It takes an average of 2 1/2 to 3 hours for three men to unload a Plastic container that is floor
stacked. It will take less time for a Paper Item Container because there will be less product on it.
- Containers can be palletized for an extra charge ranging from $600 - $1000.00 per container
Please Note: If a container is palletized, the customer loses 10% of the capacity of the container. Also, U.S. customs can “hold” a container longer - past the 90 days - to see if the wood on a palletized
is contaminated. We try to discourage palletized containers! PLASTIC IS THE ONLY ITEM THAT WILL BE PALLETIZED.
